Well, mostly it wasn't my choice.
I did Physics with Philosophy, so I just did the core Physics stuff and had no real options in it until the third year.
By which time I was well behind on astronomy and doing a course in it would have been tricky.
So I did particle physics and quantum and stuff instead.

I'm much happier now I'm learning Physics that I'll actually be using.
And there's much less horrible maths involved.
