I'm not entirely surprised, it doesn't appear to be the most widely publicised

and fast selling solo career ever no matter how much he rocks. I first heard it had come out on Bruce Dickinson's rock show about a month later.

It's just how solo careers seem to go really

If you leave (even temporarily) a band of the stature of SOAD no matter how good your solo stuff you'll never get the same sort of crowds or sales.

big venues suck

I dunno, being packed in with tens of thousands of people going mental

at the feet of Iron Maiden/Manson etc. were great experiences. The sheer organ vibrating noise, sweat, mud...

... I need to go to more gigs.

i'd rather do the same

in a smaller space. so i was within two miles of the stage.

only been to one arena gig, and whilst it wasn't the most energetic of performers i still didn't get the same buzz as i do from small vernues/outdoor gigs
