but I have that thing of a band I liked for ages has now been in a popular film so loads of people keep mentioning it and I have a massive urge to scream "I liked them before" even though it's meaningless and I should just be happy that people are experiencing music I like and such.

P.s. what's the awesome-o-pard? I have a hankering for a knowing.
