how do you manage to get away with it? you churn out so many of these, and they each look like they took ages. do you ever do any actual work?

Until a few months ago, I had very little work to do, and a screen that nobody could see.

A lot of my stuff takes 30mins, or an hour or so for the really tricky/polished ones.
