well yeah, but look at portal, or bioshock -games these days are more interactive films more than anything else. You can't really apply old logic to something that's morphed beyond recognition.

there's over 20 years worth there
not to mention the endless japanese games that never made it out of japan
plenty to keep even the most bored twat amused for a long long time :D
