it would be pretty hard on you to come over to the UK and not be able to see him - knowing you've gone that far for a holiday and be that near him and yet, ahem, so far.
but then it seems he's going to be scaredy and not see you, and it sounds like it could be hard to sway him.
It's not a nice question to have to ask youself, but if he's not going to let you see him this time around, when are you going to be able to see him?
