I can notconceive of driving a vehicle where I don't change the gearing when I need it. I accept that I don't need a clutch any more and I have even got used to using the paddles on my E36 ( even though I hated them at first ) but take away the choice of gear selection from me and I might as well be in an invalid carriage.
