i'm re-reading themon II at the moment, but read most of it on the train back from London yest, which stopped for about 20 minutes in milton keynes, so my brain isn't working properly
the fiction in the first one is better than in the second, seems like they're trying to merge the fantasy and the science in order to aid people who missed the back story
