PersonallyI'd ask Verity. She's very good at what she does. The person I feel who does the most technically correct at it is actually Dave the Hat. He has not been tainted by photoshop ( as he does not use it ) nor fallen down the old 'make a selection, colour it in, must be a vector' road and he learned it in the manner it was supposed to work. Plus he's the only person on here that I've ever seen use gradient meshes and that's what makes a vector image something special.
Failing that, if you can get the grumpy bastard to agree then Mictoboy is fucking excellent, he's massive on detail.
