This, as well as that, Crabs and lobsters and other similar crustaceanshave what's known in laymans terms as 'dead man's fingers' which are effectively gills or filters for all the shit that they breath from the water. these are poisonous at the best of times and must always be carefully removed, so one can imagine that crabs that are filtering radioactive isotopes will pick up a decent amount of radioactivity.
