Not reallythough stripes help - I just picked up a pair of cheap fuzzy ones (and ended up covered in cheap fuzz in the process) but I'm going to try and find weird patterned socks to try and make different kinds
[edit] actually fluffy ones were a pain to sew, and one of the best results I've seen just used socks with different coloured heels and toes, which is quite effective
