Even in these economic times it's as cheap as chipBackpack it and you can sleep for about £3 a night! I'm privilidged enough to have done Africa, Asia, the Americas, Russia, East and West Europe and Australia.
You may have to take time off work and career but when you do go back you come back so much stronger and with duty free:P
