where the aliens are budget-friendly human-looking and everyone is fooled despite the booming reverb voice, sound effects and tendency to walk like someone's buggered them incapable...

I love them, btw, I have a hee-youge DVD collection of this style of film, somehow they always seem perfect for pissed up weekends
