ashally the FAQ now says animations can be 400kbnot sure when that came into effect. If a few 400kb anims get posted in a row, my poor old browser really starts to struggle.

It was a bad move.Generally, there is no reason an animation needs to be that size. The whole link to big stuff idea worked better and stopped the board shuddering to a halt with massive gifs.
