I went to work wearing turquoise trousers and top.
Got a bit freaked out to find many other folks wearing similar garb and smiling at me knowingly as I walked to work ( in a high street shop)
Once at work I was informed that he was giving a lecture at the town hall and all his devotees were wearing turquoise.
I begged my boss to let me go home and change.
No way did I want to be associated with that dickweed.
I was allowed to go, but docked an hours pay.
