I've got the same, macro focal range that is.I've got a Fujifilm FinePix S100FS.
Best/cheapest camera I could find with actual manual controls and without a range of ridiculously expensive lenses I would have to buy.

I still use this old beastand I'm confident that in a blind taste test it will still produce better pictures than any compact or modern digital below the dslr range.

Not enough twiddly knobs for my liking.I hate cameras where you have to go through menus and press buttons to change apeture and shutter speeds.
Trying to find a cheap camera which has manual controls is fucking nigh impossible though, the original one I was looking at getting went out of production in about 6 months.

actually it's as simple as it getsbuttons all at the easy reach of two fingers and once your settings are set up it's really a case of point, zoom, shoot.
