Thanks!It's been a bastard to cut out- the pieces around the koi were only possible because I have a glass bandsaw with a nice new diamond blade. But I've spent maybe eight hours so far on cutting them, so it's not too bad at all.
The blue glass is from an old church that was torn down- it's probably from the 1830s or so. The agate slices were bought for this project, but I set them aside when I dreamed this one up.
I had to shower carefully after cutting and grinding this- I found that I had glass slivers all through my hair, my eyebrows and all over any exposed skin. I think I need to set up shop out in my back yard next time...
