I've used Nildram since they were a small independant company.I've seen it before. They got bought out by a big company which purposely make their acquisition unmarketable before absorbing them in to the company itself.
Virgin were quite clever in the ninties and have the only fibre op network in London, BT rewired at the same time but scrimped and used coax which is why Virgin will be faster every time.

You'll be able to get it if you can get Virgin TV.You can get 20meg for about 20 too.
EDIT: The intersting one is that you get 100 free photoprints a month with the 50meg package.

I'm not 100% sure; we have Freeview as it came with my flatmate's TVbut I will investigate. I think I heard their customer service department is staffed by monkeys, or I could be wrong...
