In fact it was PSP V8, when my PC goes to 'sleep' and I log back in, my PSP crashes, and I lose changes to anything I had open. I know better now to save my work before going away.

Edit: now I think about it, that prolly wouldn't help...

Edit 2: Gimp 2.6 is very crashy - it took a few galling losses before I learned to save stuff regularly.
