God I watched some of that the other day.I seem to remember enjoying it when it came out.

Rowan Atkinson has a stutter, and had therapy to get over it. He is also really quite shy and gets stage-fright.
When he says "Bob", one of reasons he pronounces it so comicly is because he's doing the therapy thing.
