Extinct! What was it and where did it go? Things are dying off all the time and often nobody takes the time to notice. Use your favourite time machine and make us tributes to things that are now (or should be) extinct, and post them on the board.

Wheeled Wilderness, Episode 2 (video footage)
Due to its split vision the Steamroller Chameleon could spot small insects to flatten within a range of 320 degrees..
For the first time in history it was possible to acquire video footage of this rare species:

The roving herds of sticks of butter that once covered our land

were soon wiped out by the introduction of the domestic shorthair.

that hastened the extinction of the north american hugging racoon.

the Spannerhead shark disappeared
from the world's oceans many years ago...

The wandering cone eater died out in 1975
Killed off by the increasing pollution around Britain's roadways.
