# United? Kingdom?

I believe the artist here is aiming to highlight the fundamental dichotomy of what it means to be British in the 21st Century.

The Flag represents the Traditional Ceremonial ties that bind us all whilst the lettering forces us to question the values of the patriotism we feel whilst being part of a larger whole.

It's a beautiful piece.
