A similar thing happened to a friend of mine a while back....
She had ovarian cancer, which had spread to her liver, spleen and bowel. After her secondary diagnosis, confirming the metastasis, they cancelled her benefit, pending appeal .The appeal process took eight months, she had been given four to six. Fucking scumbags.
