Moral of the story (if you get to the end):
Don't bank with Santander or Lloyds TSB. We already know banks tell you to go fuck yourself if you're scammed if it's you that actually enacts the payment - but but these two chucklecunt 'customer service' departments not even wanting to *hear* details of a scam in progress almost pisses me off me as much as the madachod scammer himself.

Having said that my dear old grey haired mum was scammed
and Santander were brilliant about it, the sent replacement card, refunded the stolen cash and went out of their way to make her feel reassured.

Good Work
We had an rather embarrassed old fellow come into our shop with mate and his laptop - he's paid over £60k in six months to a fake tech support company who had just sucked him in completely. Most of it was paid via Paypal - they were surprisingly enough absolutely fantastic and refunded him most of the money.
Most of the banks - especially Barclays are complete shite.
