This is a normal post Goodyear Aerospace fired dead chickens at jet engines.
Wiki Chicken gun. C/f Mythbusters (NSFC).

I heard one company couldn't work out why the test failed, and eventually discovered they'd used frozen chickens. Probably an urban legend.
