This is a normal post Now that's interesting...
...because I really loved Voyager. I didn't love DS9 (I don't know, I think it's a gay thing - all gays are contracted to dislike that show) but there were some cracking individual episodes (Trials and tribble-ations stands out).

I think I loved Voyager because you could relate to the backstory. TNG wasn't really "about" anything, whereas in voyager the premise was they were stranded and wanted to get home. It did take then about two and a half years to find their feet, and they lost it a bit towards the end, but seasons 3 - 5 were awesome.

Of course, I think the best Trek was 'enterprise' because it was so low-tech and in some ways, I felt like some of the technology was achievable now. And Linda Park (Hoshi) is hot and Connor Trineer (Trip) is cute...

This is a normal post DS9 was my fave to be honest.
Mainly cos it went with the darker stories, actually had plot arcs that lasted more than two episodes, and got generally grim. Most of the characters were cracking as well. Sisko was great, I think Avery Brooks is a fantastic actor. I'd sell a leg to see him do shakespeare.

I have too many fave DS9 episodes to list. Basically season 4 onwards.

No love from the gays? Is that because of the Dax bit or because Siddig and Robinson were aiming to play the gay angle on the Bashir/Garak relationship but were told by the studio to tone it down (remove it basically)? Or are there other reasons?

Voyager was a good idea but it all went wrong. They all got along too well too quickly. They didn't know what to do with Janeway, or Kes etc. Year of Hell was good though.

I liked Enterprise once they got towards the end of the second season. The Xindi plot, though full of holes, was rather grand. And the mirror universe episodes :O ! Awesome.
