expats are always whining. Also I think coming to a forum based in britain and commenting about how terrible it is here counts as looking back. If you don't like it sod off (which I see you've thoughtfully already done) and keep your opinions to yourself. I happen to like it here and am very proud of my country because I can't reason correctly and think that the acheivements of others of the same nation somehow reflect well upon me.
