So a woman calling out a famous, violent, misogynist must be doing it to get publicity herself?
Or maybe it's rather to raise public awareness of a very real problem.
If the person that would end up getting my money was someone whose life style and actions I might find especially reprehensible, I do think it would be relevant to my consumer decisions to know such facts.
Good job publicly naming and shaming a pig, I say. Maybe all those people you listed should've been called out too.

and surely its a powerful argument on her case if she had mentioned that what chris brown did has been done by people not that you already hate... but by artists you love...
wouldn't that make people think more deeply about the issue? rather than just jumping on a hate bandwagon and not actually changing opinions.

If I love an artists, then find out that he or she is actually a violent asshole, it doesn't make me "think more deeply about the issue". It makes me re-assess my opinion of the artist I used to like, and not like them anymore. You are not making any sense at all.
