I'm not saying its implausible that it was faked for whatever reason, but it's entirely plausible it's legit top. And I wouldn't take a black belt lightly no matter what their size. My Godfathet is an Aikido black belt and can have me on my knees before I can blink by just using his thumb and forefinger, and it's not a very pleasant sensation either!
