Of course I completely agree with the question but I also consider newcomers to America as generally a hard working people who set up businesses and help the economy as they have done in the past.
Of course American customs might be compromised with a influx of people from other customs but do I support this? Yes I do but the question indicated I don't if I answer with completely agree.

I suppose the key there is in the word threaten.
It's usually pejorative, they seem to be assuming that people will see it negatively.
