A parody of M's "Pop Muzik" wot I done for (and in tribute to) The Dark Outside*'s 10th anniversary broadcast this Sat/Sun just gone.
Featuring makeshift bootlace bass, automated Andrews Sisters, plus a heap of home-made and magpie'd samples. Thought it might tickle some of you, particularly if you're familiar with the 12"/album version of the original, which I took care to ensure this matches beat-for-beat. :)
* For those not in the know, it's a 24h annual festival broadcasting tracks "no one has heard before somewhere no one is likely to hear them" (typically erring towards the electronic/ambient/noise/industrial/weird end of things). Normally, that's Galloway Forest Park, Newton Stewart, Scotland, although it was in Waltham Forest (Queen Elizabeth's Hunting Lodge) the other year (for the "London Borough of Culture" thing) and, this year and during the pandemic, it was broadcast online via the Further_In channel on Twitch.
