TotP, 1982I remember watching Top of the Pops in 1982; Culture Club were on, with their poptastic hit "Do you really want to hurt me". Boy George was like something us middle class, rural kids had never seen before.
Next day at school the conversation always drifted back to "Did you see Top of the Pops last night? Was that a boy or a girl".
