Edit I also built this philsfixie.blogspot.com/ from an old 1979 Peugeot. It was too big for me so I sold it. Also it scared the shit out of me and I learned very quickly that fixed geared bikes are a fucking stupid idea.

Salvo?
Basically my niece trashed my sisters laptop shoving it off a sofa so I took it to pieces. Built a new frame and case and put the motherboard, Ram etc in the case. Then bought a cheap lcd panel and touch screen overlay from ebay. Soldered the overlay to the webcam port on the motherboard and put it all together. Then install windoze 7, and fucked about with the software until it did what I wanted, then I lent it to my sister and my niece shoved it off a sofa again right royally fucking it up forever.

Salvo meaning salvaged by that I mean the touchscreen was salvaged from a skip I've seen a post of someone who got two from his work and turned them into a shopping/cook book thing.very very cool by the way may have to have a go at it myself.my misses sisters fella snapped the hinge on her laptop so I'm thinking about having a go at doing that myself.
