I don't understand the attraction
Smaug says: Ricky Gervais. Lesbian pr0n. Going into a crowded bar, purely because it's crowded. All these things seem to be popular with everybody else, but I just can't work out why. What leaves you cold just as much as it turns everyone else on?

Everyone loves raymond.
This may be something that everyone loves but leaves me cold - and thus being inkeeping with the question, but...surely there isn't a single person on this planet that actually likes it is there?
It's so bad that it's makers really should be tried in a court of law for affronts of the human race. It's probably offended more people that Milosovich. And the buyers at Channel 4 should be shot for propagating something so fucking dull and badly acted/written.
Is there really anyone that likes it? Honestly?

It's a funny 25 minute show.
Unfortunately they seem to rehash the same 25 minutes for every single episode.

I have
to disagree. I watched an episode, and the only time I could tell when something apparently funny had happened was because they very kindly played a recording of people laughing just afterwards to let me know.
Drivel. Utter drivel, with (over)actors that wine a lot.

It's alright.
I watch it a fair bit, but the show seems to boil down to: Ray does something selfish/stupid/ Debra overreacts, seemingly getting more and more unlikable as the show progress/ Problem is resolved, marriage is restored. Yet...I still watch it, and mostly enjoy it.
