Lies Your Parents Told YouI once overheard a neighbour use the phrase "nig nog". I asked my father what it meant. As quick as a flash he said, "It's a type of biscuit. A bit like a hobnob." Brussel Sprouts 2Fairy Cabbages? MY MOTHER said "Just try and eat them, they're good for you and you'll like them." SHE LIED but I think she eventually got the message when I puked all over the dinner table.
