Lies Your Parents Told YouI once overheard a neighbour use the phrase "nig nog". I asked my father what it meant. As quick as a flash he said, "It's a type of biscuit. A bit like a hobnob." Ha! Ya right...I once found one of my mothers power tools under the bed, on wandering downstairs and thinking nothing of the group of friends she'd got round for coffee asked her what it was.
She told me it was a delux food mixer to which her friends howled and I went away perplexed
