This is a question Political Correctness Gone Mad

Freddy Woo writes: "I once worked on an animation to help highlight the issues homeless people face in winter. The client was happy with the work, then a note came back that the ethnic mix of the characters were wrong. These were cartoon characters. They weren't meant to be ethnically anything, but we were forced to make one of them brown, at the cost of about 10k to the charity. This is how your donations are spent. Wisely as you can see."

How has PC affected you? (Please add your own tales - not five-year-old news stories cut-and-pasted from other websites)

What the media doesnt tell you, is that the noose hung wasnt for anyone black at all. It was meant for someone in the drama club. It wasnt a "white" tree, it was a tree were kids from all different races hung out. The kids involved all have problems with the cops before (the ones who beat up the kid). Sadly this has many shades of the Duke University rape case, which was proven to be just a case of she said he said. ONe of the accused in that case, had proof he wasnt there when he was accused (a cab driver and receipt from a bank machine). So the woman then changed her story. You never hear about the protestors every protesting someone who was black when they are clearly guilty of a crime on anyone of another race. Its become a cottage industry here in the US. Why dont I call black people African American? Cause not everyone who is black comes from Africa. Besides, it indicates someone who because a US citizen who was from Africa - otherwise they'd be just another american.

Sad times indeed.
