This is a question Political Correctness Gone Mad

Freddy Woo writes: "I once worked on an animation to help highlight the issues homeless people face in winter. The client was happy with the work, then a note came back that the ethnic mix of the characters were wrong. These were cartoon characters. They weren't meant to be ethnically anything, but we were forced to make one of them brown, at the cost of about 10k to the charity. This is how your donations are spent. Wisely as you can see."

How has PC affected you? (Please add your own tales - not five-year-old news stories cut-and-pasted from other websites)

Oh yeah...
...one evening a couple of years ago I was having a crafty one at the tram platform on the way home - I'd had to stay late at work for 2 hours unplanned so I wasn't in the best of moods. Some middle-aged accountant type in a silly hat apparently thought I needed telling the error of my ways - he didn't even have the grace to be polite about it. I'd noticed him giving sideways glances before he sauntered over and the following exchange took place:

Him: {brusquely} I don't like smoking - you know that it's bad for you, don't you?
Me: Indeed I do, and may I point out that criticising total strangers can also be dangerous in its way?
Him: {affronted} Don't be like that - I have a right to express...
Me: {quietly but inches from his face} Today hasn't been a good day for me mate and you're not improving my mood. {holding up the fag packet with its 'Oh Noes, You Gonna DIE!!!'-esque warning} I can read these just fine and it's my choice. Please. Go away. Now.

And so he did. Tit.
