the swaztikafrom what i know until the Nazis co-oped it, was considered a good luck symbol. Some buildings in NYC have them. It was also used by the Indians (errrr Native Americans - fancy that, cause all humans in the western hemisphere came via the Land bridge connecting Asia and the American continents, which doesnt make them native) as a relgious symbol i believe.
