Rubbish Towns
I once went to Basildon. It was closed, I got chased by a bunch of knuckle-dragged yobs until I was lost in a maze of concrete alleyways and got food poisoning off pie. Tell us about the awful places you've visited or have your home.

Shilbottle...
Just outside Alnwick.
Used to drive through it commuting between Newcastle and Edinburgh.
It has the most regularly defaced road sign in Britain.

Through it?
The A1 shut then?
I also did that commute, for about a year. I once got bored and ventured off the A1 to see what it was like.
It's one big housing estate - there is no town.
