» Mugged

My friend tried to get mugged
having just taken her bike into the repair shop, only to be informed it was so knackered it was dangerous, it turned out that it would cost £20 for it to be taken away and recycled.
Obviously realising that this wasnt an attractive option, the shop owner just told her to leave it down the alley and it would be removed of its own accord. Fifteen minutes later, it was gone!

Just three teeth
but the dentist injected the anasthetic into my tongue instead of my gum, so when he was poking my teeth, and asking "Can you feel this?" he didnt understand my fevered crys of "Dear God yes!". Then he pulled them out, accompanied by a very loud crack.
Didnt like him too much after that

Please never mix alcohol, fireworks and horses
Firstly, I do apologise for yet another 'we all got pissed and did something stupid while other people threw up' story.

But anyway, we were somewhat pissed, and thought a firework display would be fun. Bit instead of planting this roman candle in the ground, my friend decided it would work just as well if he held it. After the first shot fired, he surprisingly found it was rather hot, and threw it into the neighbouring field. Where it started to shoot at us.

One hit the tent, which somehow didnt set alight, one nearly hit the girls as they ran inside screaming, one passed only an inch from said friends head as he leaped the fence to retrieve firework. As he picked it up the others fired safely into the distance...

towards his neighbours farm housing his very expensive racehorses, apparently one had to be put down becuase of the shock. He isnt allowed any more parties.

» Oldies vs Computers

I know these will sound like Urban Legends
But unfortunately they're true.

1) Spent 15 minutes the other day trying to explain to my mother that just because her laptop has a wireless card, when she takes it to the park it wont work, when she said the classic line "Oh! So the internet doesn't stay inside it then?"

2) Which button is the "On" button?
(She only has one button on the front of the PC)
