Hi, Below are some messages I have sent to Maiden regarding a cartoon she has posted about beheadings suggesting that it may not be fitting in today's climate. They are accompanied by her replies????

As for Harold Bishop's Love Child's Executioner, 1) Harold Bishop is a fictishes charetor on a TV soap 2) I am sure that it is impossible for a fictgishes charector to have a love child 3)executioner, you can not execute something that does not exist 4)the word executioner is not only used in the context of death. Why can you not see that you can not cartoonise a beheading, it is sick as your mind must also be sick?? I study recent history and what is happening in the world today is part of it.

Would you have made a cartoon about a lady pushing here new born child across the road and a car running over the child? I'm trying to point out to you that beheadings take place every day here in the real world to real people and the relatives of those people could really do without kids poking fun at it. Thanks very much I really don't need the descrisption that you seem quite happy to share with me. If you can't find the comedy value in my gif I suggest that you don't view it. You really need to take a chill pill and understand the comic value of irony and not take things so literally. I do not condone beheading or any acts of violence and will thank you not to imply as such!

I will explain how it is done, the person is knelt down and held from behind by there hair and their head is hacked off with a 12 inch knife by the person holding the hair, the person is not dead until the vertebrae is cut, you can hear them trying to breath through their thoat as it is being cut. Far from quick and not nice but people should know what goes on, without burying there head in the sand, this also has happened in the UK recently. Just thought if you actually saw somebody being beheaded you may take down your cartoon of J K no matter how detestable the man is.

I realise beheading is terrible, I tried to make it more comic than reality. Not sure I want to view a clip of someone actually being beheaded though, so I think I will decline your offer.
