and then chatting with the nurse about her upcoming holiday to Devon just before being knocked out for emergency surgery that turned my guts upside down. It does happen.

(The doctor didn't seem to appreciate the jokes, the humourless dick. Though he did help save my life so I'm not complaining too much.)
