small TJ : anyone here recommend a VERY simple program to convert a windows media video clip to .avi to import into imageready?

its the original 2001 clip with the apes from earlier, I have the link to get at it
yet is saves as a windows media player video clip when i open or save as, therefore
rendering it impossible to open up in imageready...

If anyone fancies being a genius,

It's getting all complicated asking for this codec, that codec etc, and I design buildings, not spazz around with techy stuff...

Telestream's FlipFactory will do it for you but it'll cost you a few grand ;)

VLC will play it & I've got a system that will capture it off screen with minimal loss of quality
Just the machines are a bit busy at the mo & it's really home time
