It's got a leak somewhere.

It's something do with the fact that Firefox, even though it's the best web browser ever, sometimes uses all the computer's RAM for a while
Sometimes for no reason at all

The memory thing is the only problem with Firefox as far as I know
(

it is the best browser by far

^this
it's very slim and infinitely customiseable (with thousands of addons), and reported bugs are fixed very fast
but there are still some problems, even in the current 2.0 version (e.g. problems with java)

Slim?
That's one thing it's not - especially given the screnshot here ;)

Firewall crisis appears to be subsiding
Repographics are mean to be scanning like 400 pages for me so really all I have to do at the moment is wait for them and then run it all through some OCR software.
And play on b3ta. On a side note, have you seen the Human modifications website on the /links page? I was well grossed out this morning. You can have a lady-button on your hand for some ungodly reason

Bloody hell! My Firefox has gone a little high sometimes but never that bad :-S
/finding FF2 to be rather ace except the downloads dialogue doesn't clear itself
(
Shuya Nanahara Sayonara, Tue 5 Dec 2006, 9:37,

Can't you change the download settings?
(
davew27 has a £4.97 mouse, from Tesco. "‮", Tue 5 Dec 2006, 9:38,

there's a checkbox for that
under settings/privacy
(
pzyko, Tue 5 Dec 2006, 9:42,
archived)
Nah,
theres a thing to clear it but on FF1.5 there was an option for all downloads to clear as soon as they finished. It's nothing major.
(
Shuya Nanahara Sayonara, Tue 5 Dec 2006, 9:48,

the "Remember what I've downloaded" checkbox
in FF2 has the same effect
(
pzyko, Tue 5 Dec 2006, 9:55,

Mine does that sometimes
I just temporarily bookmark any tabs that are interesting and restart it.
