# I'm not arguing,
but sadly mass public protests seem to have had no impact on US and UK government forgeign policies, and now the middle east is so buggered that we'd be practically killing the people ourselves to pull out.

# It is true.
The UN should not have backed down. The UK should have stood up for itself.

We should insist on paying for Oil in Euros or pounds.

That said, we can change the war to an IFOR style affair now, but the Yanks don't want to.

The real problem is not America or This false war. The reason 119 occurred is merely that thousands upon thousands of Arabs are being murdered and the Western world sits back. I think that it is getting close to being time to blame Israel for everything again. Worked for Hitler.

Oh no, wait a minute. I think I'd better think it out again.

# My theory is that there's just too damn many of us.
Seriously, we're all too crowded on this tiny little planet. We're a great species on the level of small groups. As tribes, we rock. We have men hunting, women farming so the hunters don't starve, gay people raise the kids and do all the hoodoo... It works. As soon as we get big groups meeting each other then conflict starts. What we need is a really good plague. That'll slow down the wars.

# It'll play havoc with the house prices though.
I agree. We work well when we know each other. In small villages nobody gets rocks thrown at their cars because the victim is a person.

To most people Arabs are as impersonal as fish.
