unfortunately 386 was my second computer, and that was the one that allowed elite to work.
My first was an enormous thing with a fan that could be heard in the rest of the house, and I could only play Zany Golf on it, which was fucking awesome.

My first PC was an XT, which could run fuck all other than some gaudy space invaders thing
After that I upgraded to a powerful 286 and could not believe the power of the thing and the amazing realism of Castle Wolfenstein

I've never really been freaked out by games.
Although I got ill when I was really young the same day as we borrowed an Amiga version of Street Fighter, I subsequently had hallucinations of all the Street Fighter characters attacking me constantly FOR HOURS!

I can do basic stuff in swift but 3DS max is just mindbogglingly complicated. Tried for 2 hours to get a static image of julius caesars head to render right and still didnt manage it. Couldnt smooth the polys!
