# :D
Thanks to your sig, I now want bacon and egg soup. I might do this in a newsletter 'stuff we'd like to see' style, with videos, diagrams, vomiting and the like

# i'm just finishing a bowl of it
it's delicious!

# Sounds....viscous
The only culinary idea I had was a widowmaker pie.

Bacon and fried egg wrapped around a scotch egg, which is sitting on a base of pickled onion monster munch and beef. All wrapped in pastry with a dash of wholegrain mustard ontop.

But I retract all my misconceptions on the basis of said yumminess. : D

# I have to say
I was pleasantly surprised by "cheese-and-egg-in-the-oven" - so I am quite prepared for whatever bacon and egg soup might throw up
(perhaps bad turn of phrase there) :P

okay, bacon and egg soup.

you will need:

2-3 rashers streaky bacon
1 small tin baby carrots
1 small onion(optional)
1 tsp powdered swiss vegetable bouillon
1 egg

cut bacon into lardons and fry gently with onion, if using it. add the bouillon powder to a cup of boiled water. when bacon is cooked, but not brown, add bouillon to the pan. add carrots. bring everything to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes. turn off the heat. when the soup has stopped bubbling, very gently break an egg into the middle of the pan and put the lid on immediately. leave for 5 minutes, then serve with a little black pepper to taste.
simple!
