whilst naked in the shower,
we don't have a bolt on the toilet door and the shower is right next to it, my (8year old) sis wanted the toilet, I was 14 so there was no way I was gonna let her in, I put my hand on the glass....she turned the handle and kicked the door... result 17 stitches and all major blood vessels cut, 30 miles to the nearest hospital. not fun. I have had worse though, not bleeding mind, that one was a transfusion job.

for some reason, as a kid I believed scalpels were the sharpest it was humanly possible to make something, and that they should be treated with the kind of care levels reserved for hot acid and radioactive material
