# Phone-box call cards for their Lordships Challenge - The Results
Mark Thomas writes:

'Dear b3ta folk,

Thanks for taking up the challenge and especially to Beau Bo d'Or whose entry had giving Lord Mandelson a helping hand.

Some of the entries have already appeared in phone boxes around Westminster, there is a particularly lovely line of them on the side of Parliament Square next to the Treasury. Soho also saw some hot card action too. You can see photos of this at www.comparethemarquis.com/

There is also a download section of some of my favourite cards so folk can do their own and decorate the phone boxes as and when the feel like it.

And so the winner of the hand made wax egg paint bombs...

I liked revmoola's entry with the faded pink background and the wig making a simple and rather tawdry image that didn't involve a dildo. I also liked Manic's two entries of Lord Taylor naked on a sofa next to a pile of money under the slogan 100% 100% discrete, likewise Lord Truscott in his jaunty top hat and the slogan Barely legal red hot loopholing. The cards made me laugh and wince at the same time - always a winning combination. I will bung a couple of DVDs in the post as a runner up prize for revmoola and Manic.

The winner is... zeltergiset and I'll do anything you want me to, Rich boy. Simple design, lords, cash and bending the process all in one card. And the card size means you can slot it into the metal frames of the info boards inside phone boxes.

Also when I was putting them in phone boxes in Soho in Windmill St some young men watched on while having a cigarette on the street. I went up and handed over zeltergiset's card and said 'Hot lord action?' and the bloke looked embarrassed, looked at the card, handed the card back and said 'I'm alright thanks mate'.

'You can subvert democracy if you like' I said

'Nah nah, I'm alright'

He turned walked up the street shaking his head, then stopped turned around and said 'OK OK' and clapped his hands, as if to say 'I get it now.'

Which for me was the winning moment.

So zeltergiset is the winner and now in line for some hand made wax ovoid paint bombs. Enjoy and thanks to everyone who joined.

Mark Thomas'

I'll be contacting those involved in the winning of the prizes to sort out their postal details.

It was fun putting them up in the phone boxes too, though I admit I was a tad nervous when doing the one right outside Charing Cross Police Station ;) Great work everyone.

# Dammit
I found one of the 100% discrete cards lying in the street near charing cross station, but left it behind. I thought it seemed familiar somehow.
